Jump to a game type

Same foundation. A different game.

We start with a format that makes sense.

Then we adapt the theme, content, artwork, rules, components, playing time, and complexity.

We can add a board, cards, tokens, playing pieces, dice, questions, tasks, QR codes, online rules, a microsite, a box, or gift packaging.

The result is a game of your own.

Before you ask

Common questions about custom game production. We can cover the rest when we talk.

What’s the minimum order?

The minimum order is 100 copies for every format, from mini games and card sets to large board games. The price per copy falls with larger production runs.

How long does a custom game take?

A full project usually takes 1 to 4 months, depending on scope. Production itself usually takes 3 to 6 weeks, depending on quantity. We start once the production files are approved and the agreed deposit is paid. Your quote will state the agreed deadline.

What affects the price?

The game format (mini, card, or board game), number and type of components, production quantity, materials, and packaging. The price also depends on whether we design the game from scratch or build on an existing format. We don’t publish a price list. We price each project individually, based on the game type, quantity, and scope. Your initial estimate is free and comes with no obligation.

Do we supply the artwork, or do you create it?

Either works. We can follow your brand guidelines and create custom illustrations, icons, and rules. If you have your own artwork, we’ll take it and prepare it for print.

What formats and components can you produce?

Game boards, cards (including round and unusual shapes), tokens, playing pieces, dice, pads, rules, boxes, and gift packaging. We can also add QR codes, online rules, or a microsite.

How do licensing, copyright, and NDAs work?

You use the supplied game for your brand and for the purpose it was made for. Standard game formats and their adaptations are non-exclusive; exclusivity applies to fully original custom game systems. The right to reproduce the game or manufacture additional copies is not included in the standard delivery and remains with GIFTORA. It must be agreed separately. Your quote or contract sets out the specific rights. We regularly sign NDAs, so some projects are only published once those agreements expire.

Let’s put together a game that works.

We’ll choose the format. Adapt the components. Fine-tune the rules. Deliver the finished game.
